In this blog, we are going to discuss why InstallerSHOW and PHEX have become our favourite plumbing and heating exhibitions to showcase our diverse Flexigas range of products.
Since launching our flagship flexible gas pipe CSST product, Flexigas, into the UK market back in 2016, we have constantly been striving to showcase our CSST to as many people in the plumbing and heating industry as possible. Alongside developing strong links with distributors and suppliers of plumbing and heating products, it seemed to us that one of the best ways to do this would be to display our CSST product range at a plumbing and heating exhibition. There are several very well-run and popular plumbing and heating exhibitions that take place annually across the UK. But before we committed to the expense and time toward exhibiting we wanted to ensure whichever plumbing and heating exhibition we attended would be the right fit for our brand and get our CSST products in front of the ideal target audience.

It quickly became clear that there were two plumbing and heating exhibitions that took place annually which would offer the perfect platform for Flexigas to flaunt our CSST flexible gas pipe product range. These were InstallerSHOW, which takes place over 3 days in the summer at the iconic NEC in Birmingham, and PHEX, which takes place later in the year and is held across two venues, one in London and one in Manchester. We decided to take a stand at both InstallerSHOW and the London-based PHEX show, as these two exhibitions would allow us to bring our CSST product range to an audience both in the South and North. We have now successfully exhibited at both of these plumbing and heating exhibitions for several years, and have grown to love them so much we are literally counting down the days until next year’s event! Here is why we love InstallerSHOW and PHEX so much.

Since its inception in 2015, InstallerSHOW has grown to become a behemoth in the world of plumbing and heating, and now boasts over 450 exhibitors showcasing a huge range of plumbing and heating-related products and services to over 20,000 visitors. InstallerSHOW is free for visitors to attend. Aside from the exhibitors, visitors are also treated to live demonstrations, insightful talks from guest speakers and the opportunity to have any question answered by industry experts. We love exhibiting at InstallerSHOW as not only is there a huge amount of footfall that gives us the perfect platform to inform, educate and demonstrate face-to-face all of the innovative features that make Flexigas one of the fastest-growing flexible gas pipe CSST brands in the UK, but also as it allows our team to network with all of the multitude of other exhibitors. Since attending InstallerSHOW we have forged some strong ties with many distributors and suppliers of plumbing and heating products who are now part of our trusted network and sell our flexible gas pipe CSST products. PHEX, which stands for The Plumbing and Heating Exhibition, is run by the Heating, Ventilating and Plumbing Magazine. Their first exhibition took place in 1993, making PHEX the longest-running plumbing and heating exhibition in the UK. PHEX provides a platform so that plumbing, heating and electrical engineers/contractors have visibility and access to the very latest industry-specific technology advances that could be advantageous to them. Held across two venues, Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge in the South, and Manchester United’s Old Trafford in the North, PHEX sees thousands of visitors each year. PHEX has proved to be so important to Flexigas, as it allows us to demonstrate all of the unique and time-saving features of our innovative CSST products to the very people who would use them on a daily basis. As many of our suppliers are based in the South, with a large amount in the London area, our team gets to continue to grow our supplier base in that area through networking at PHEX.
