Technical Sales Manager

We are on the hunt for a motivated, passionate and qualified individual to join the Flexigas team to fill the exciting role of sales development specialist, in charge of driving sales, and managing internal admin and customer admin in your territory.

 
 
 
 

What you'll do

  • Secure and manage candidates and potential sales opportunities
  • Manage customer accounts and all account admin 
  • Provide top standard customer service and keep customer relationships healthy  
  • Take control of planning sales events and marketing opportunities to better develop Flexigas and our network 
  • Work with other teams within the company to manage all admin including sales and costs 
  • Produce a monthly report to show company progress and activity 
  • Identify sales trends and act on these accordingly 
  • Develop competitor knowledge and how we can successfully compete in our market
  • Confident in selling to new clients and customers 
  • Be confident in dealing with customer satisfaction and how to maintain this
  • Will be in charge of own diary
  • Your time will be 50% merchant calls, 40% contractors and 10% housebuilders/specifiers

 
 
 
 

What you need

  • Knowledge of heating and plumbing products and the ability to talk about them confidently 
  • A proven track record of exceeding KPI’S
  • To be able to demonstrate previous sales growth and business development experience
  • To confidently work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, as you will be required to carry out work effectively within a short period of time
  • Passion about our company and what you are selling
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in order to sell and liaise with people such as site engineers and building contractors
  • To be time-efficient and organised in order to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
  • A background in providing excellent customer service and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Have the confidence to create relationships with new people within and outside the organisation.
  • Existing relationships with contractors and sub-contractors, house builders/ specifiers
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license as you will be required to travel
